What’s Different?

  • Fewer government-directed restrictions

That’s literally it: fewer lockdowns, closures, and stay-at-home orders, often due to political pressure.

But COVID-19 is still here. It’s still contagious. People are still getting it. People are still dying from it. Just because it’s not as prominent in the news does not mean that this 2020 story arc has concluded!

Please

  • Wash your hands
  • Continue social distancing
  • Wear a face mask
  • Protect high-risk and vulnerable people
  • Self-isolate if sick, quarantine if exposed
  • Help flatten the curve and contain the outbreaks 

Source: I am an actual contact tracer and I just got home from a very long shift where we are having to reach out to more and more and more people as they are exposed to people with positive COVID-19 tests.

please wear a mask IF YOU CAN please cover mouth and nose IF YOU CAN do your best not to get medical workers overworked (again) they wear masks goodness knows how many hours per day I work retail I'm a non-essential worker my team and I wear masks 8hrs+ a day in really hot weather if necessary we sanitize our hands A LOT sometimes I peal strips of dead skin off my hands like they're sunburnt my coworker is allergic to her masks but still wears them until she finds different ones I sometimes see over 550 people in a day we clean regularly but some people hand us used handkerchiefs some rub their mouths & noses some lower their masks to speak with us it is NOT OVER YET At least one person I live with would DIE if I came home sick covid virus ALSO: don't litter put used masks and gloves in waste bins
