I love this shit. Sakizou cosplayers would probably especially dig it; I know Ifria recently made gorgeous thigh-highs on what I thiiiink is red velour using a similar method as this.
Also, you can find pre-made gold or silver metallic appliques in plentiful, cheap amounts through Aliexpress – any search for “Gold applique lace” generally brings up a lot of them. - Jenn
