The way time is cyclical on Discworld is so weird because lets say you are reading Going Postal which has quite victorian feel to it.. so you might start imagining the characters in sort of victorian clothes n stuff? That sort of makes sense.. but then you realize how the post office building is in neo-renaissance style and it used to have brass railings and its already over hundred years old..AND THEN you remember that the city was medieval fantasy themed only like 5 years ago and they already had HOLLYWOOD, rock, punk, photography n so on and you go ASDFSAFAFXCHVJHGDCGFS FDYFYDYDSYDYafdfsjhvj

makes imagining that world and its fashion a bit hard is all I am saying

I like to imagine everyone dresses like it’s the Society for Creative Anachronism. I for one would be out there leaning on a wall during my coffee break at the clacks tower in my wimple, doublet, and jorts.
