I’VE GOT MY INTERNSHIIIIIIIP!
From public service broadcasting to independent radio - some might consider it downgrading. But at this place, they offer me the opportunity to produce my own weekly show (!!!) and to join them in a five day workshop in Germany where I’ll be able to work with tons of German independent broadcasters (!!!), whereas…
Don’t get me wrong, I loved my time at the public service radio. I went to press conferences. They even trusted me enough so that I could attend one alone and interview a politician, and my article about it was broadcast (although I only wrote it, I did not speak), but they would never let someone produce a whole show after like six weeks of being there. Not even a small thing, or barely a 30 seconds thing. So I feel that, in this perspective, I will learn much more at the independent station.
Also they’re super friendly, very funny, and they love cookies.
