Not sure if I’m safe for work today with all those lemons on. :p
I MADE IT! :D
I managed to plough through all of these 45 pages and correct them. Will make editing waaaay easier. It now just depends on what my boss thinks of this all…might have to reread one or two pages on Wednesday before the briefing, but eh.
Now, if I have to read the words “Kammmolch” or “Steinkauz” again within the next 36 hours, I’ll yell.
I demand pictures! ;3
@bansheesvoices - Here, have a less than flattering changing room selfie (I either need to step up my selfie game or get someone else to snap a pic, lol)

Aaaalso that dress I wanted to try on a few weeks ago that ended up not being in store?
Said store is going to close on the 22nd at my place (it’ll still be open in other cities). I went by yesterday, and the dress was on a mannequin. So I did indeed try it on.
it…fits as if it was made for me. Happy new dress owner is happy. :)
A photograph of me in my pink trench coat, with disheveled hair, holding a taxidermied swallow, may or may not appear in the country’s largest newspaper.
The place I work at installed some artificial nests for swallows and similar birds to use in urban environments where modern architecture does get in their way of building nests of their own. Today they were inaugurated in one specific place, and I, as press representative, had to be there. We brought along two taxidermied swallows (they were found dead and were preserved) to show their wings and anatomy, and at one point the photographer of said newspaper wanted to take a pic of me and my colleague holding said swallows.
It’s not the first time my face appears in a newspaper, and each time it happens, I dislike it.
Welp, time to change my age in my blog bio, since I’m turning a year older today and all of that stuff.
Heeeey, I just noticed that my left arm made it to national TV! :D
…some context: Today is International Biodiversity Day. We at the Nature Conservation Syndicate had a press conference planned since a while ago, showing how we renatured a few pieces of prairie, re-introducing rare plants, and thus making it a more diverse ground for pollinators and plants alike.
We kind of suspected that nobody would show up, because - well. It’s not the most interesting thing to talk about, journalism-wise, especially when European elections are that close.
Lo and behold, national TV showed up. Which - granted - isn’t too difficut in a country as tiny as the one I am living in, but still. We were expecting a small local newspaper at most, but national TV? Wow.
Turns out it was because of International Biodiversity Day, which was an absolute coinidence (which we didn’t tell them, of course this was planned), but it played out in our favour. And since I was there as the communications officer in my bright yellow shirt, the camera caught a glimpse of my left arm.
So there you have it: my left arm on national TV, on the prime time news. XD

WWC Reader Publications - Spring 2019
Throwback to 2015 when I turned into a literal Hobbit. :D
I even had selfmade Hobbit feet, with hair and all, but didn’t wear them outside as they were flimsy, and it did hurt to wear them outside, so I only wore them in the convention hall.
I miss this cosplay so much. I wore it again in 2017, but the wig since died, and I’d love to redo the apron and a new version of the feet. Loved the ears on me though!
