A fan art I´ve made for leadingtofreedom ´s Attack on Titan – Harry Potter AU, which you can read here on AO3.
Seriously. If you´re an SnK fan and are of legal age (and/or don´t mind a bit of tasteful mature content) – go and read her stuff. It´s brilliant. I am already in love with her fics “Unnamed” and “The Book List”, and when she announced that she was going to post an Harry Potter AU, I made internal backflips. Two of my favourite things combined! :la:

Of course, fan art had to be made. The fic had only one chapter when I started to sketch it, and had two the last time I checked, but I already love it sooo soo much.

Though someone should remind Hanji that it´s forbidden to use magic in the corridors…

God my brother and are in the middle of a Harry Potter marathon and we’re watching Goblet of Fire right now, and as soon as Voldemort appeared all you could hear in the living room was the two of us just sitting there being like “Oh my god, Ralph Fiennes is so good in this role."  I’m pretty sure we spent most of the graveyard scene voicing our appreciation of Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort…

The Lonely Mermaid by SweetLittleVampire

“Oooooh, what is this?”
Curiously, Grell swam towards the object in the sand that had glistened in the sunlight. It was round, with a smooth surface. Attached to it was a chain similar to those ships used to attach their anchors, but much much smaller. The thing had a kind of…Grell could not quite describe it, loop on top. He examined it from every side, and unintentionally pushed the loop. The thing snapped open.
It was a pocket watch, but that the mermaid did of course not know. He examined the inside, those cryptic signs that were engraved in a circle, and those strange kind of spikes pointing towards them.
The cap of the thing was also smooth on the inside, and Grell ran a finger over it, because he liked the feel of it. As soon as he had touched it, the whole object began to glow and float. Grell let out a squeal, as the face of a man appeared on the inside of the cap. He seemed tall, dark well-combed hair, strange rectangular things sitting on the bridge of his nose that made him look even more intellectual, sharp but handsome facial features – and he had the most stunning green eyes he had ever seen, even prettier than his own.
The sight made his heart flutter, and with a smile, he observed the man for a while. He then proceeded to hide the thing in a spot between the corals and anemones. It was his secret, and whenever he could he returned to that very spot, took out the device and gazed at the handsome stranger, dreaming of a life by his side – impossible, yet so beautiful.”

Yay, bandwagon time! :D

You know, there are an awful lot of marvellous Grell!Mermid / Arigrell pictures out there.
So I thought: Hm. Why don´t make a version of my own? I decided to go with my own design (betta-inspired tail anyone?), but to stick with the average Disney colour scheme, as I like the contrast between red and teal/turquoise.
And I wanted a kind of magical item, a bit like Belle´s mirror, through which Grell could observe his prince, and one of my friends on facebook came up with the idea of the pocket watch. So yeah.

I Don’t Like Bullies - 2014.05.04

When I was in fifth grade
I had no friends,
and got teased for who I was
and how I looked.

I was lucky though
because my teacher realised it early
but ever since
I don’t like bullies.

It wasn’t the last time
I had no friends,
but it was the last time
people really picked on me.
Not because I changed myself
but because they learned.

And now I see people
downright hating others
for who they are
and things they cannot change,
even though they should know better,
and I get that feeling again
from when I was in fifth grade.

Listen, I understand
that you’re angry
because despite what they say
people aren’t equal
and we still have a long way to go.

But you of all people
should understand how it feels
to be hated for who you are.
You should know better
than turning into bullies yourself.

It is okay to be angry,
but it will never be okay
to tell someone they should die.

And Generalisations are never good,
because you forget so easily
that there are actual people out there
who see these things
and are hurt by them.

I guess, my point is
that I don’t like bullies,
but that that is no reason
to turn into one,
and that you should always
think of the consequences of your actions.

Another request; this time Grell Sutcliff in Queen Elsa´s dress.

I still haven´t seen Frozen, though I have the DVD lying here next to me, and I am probably going to watch it with my mother tomorrow afternoon.
However I´ve seen so many gorgeous fan arts, concept art, screenshots and cosplay of this movie – I´m quite in love with the whole costume design, ao when I was asked if I would draw this I was like “Yessss! :D ”
A fun crossover, that´s for sure.
