I am sooo soo so pleased with this. Only bummer was that one of my cufflinks
broke, and I´m probably going to leave out the cuffs altogether because they
are hella uncomfortable to wear. Not pictured are - obviously - the wig
(acquired but needs to be styled), the nylons, the shoes, and the gloves (which
I have but didn´t feel like wearing them.
Also say hello to Sweet´s No Make Up At All Face, spiced with a hint of Very
Bad Hair Day. Yeah, messy braid is messy.
And please don´t mind the fact that my phone still takes crappy pictures.
Now I only need a photographer. Anyone here from Luxembourg who would not mind
running around town in cosplay with me for a shooting? I´ll pay with a box of
self made cupcakes. :3

This is one of the first books I remember being in my life. My mum read it to me when I was little, and I’ve been in love with Middle Earth ever since.
The dwarves have always been some of my favourite characters and on top of there being quite a few siblings among them, I feel like in a way they all grow to be family by the end of their quest.

Selfmade Body Dust and Powder Puff by SweetLittleVampire
So. I love vintage stuff and a certain kind of boudoir chic, and to a certain extent I also love make-up.
I mean I don´t wear it on a daily basis, only when I´m headed to somewhere fancy, or for Christmas dinners and the like, and for cosplay, of course. Then I enjoy putting it on - it´s a bit like painting, but only on my face.
Now if only removing wasn´t so tedious, but I digress.
I´ve been hit by a wee bit of art block lately, and so I´ve sat down and watched Youtube tutorials on various things, just to get some fresh ideas. And I´ve always wanted a vintage powder puff (I don´t really fancy these new flat ones) and a pretty powder box, and I stumbled over these tutorials on how to decorate the box, how to make the puff, and even how to DIY the body powder! Granted, I did rush the box a bit, and I´ve modified the instructions for the puff to my liking, but it´s all very easy to make.
I´m pretty sure this would make a nice gift for someone. I love mine!
Also a tip: you should be able to handwash your puff with shampoo and conditioner, then brush the fur while it´s still wet, let it dry, and brush it again to detangle the fluff.
