Feed a person vampire blood, you get a ghoul. Feed an animal vampire blood, you get a hellhound. Water a plant in vampire blood, you get a mandrake.

Fill up your car with vampire blood? Probably good things, let’s try it.

Also has information for Health Care Providers and Treatment, about former service members, various publications about mental illnesses, and a live online chat.

Mental Health Association - has tons of information on mental illness, including counselling and support, relapse prevention, how to help a loved one suffering, etc.

Nothing working? (please, please call one of these if you need it darling)

Suicide Hotlines:

IMAlive - another support/crisis network, but this one is text based, just in case you are uncomfortable with phone calls but still need to talk!

Crisis Center - 1 (800) 668-6868

I know that a lot of people are terrified of calling because of anxiety or just generally don’t know how the person on the other line is going to react, which is why i’m going to add in that i have personally called one of those numbers, the Crisis Center, when i needed to, and the woman was so nice, and helpful and calming and please lovelies i beg you, if you feel like you are going to do something, call one of these numbers

And an extra thank you to @imshrimpfriedrice, who’s list helped me when i really needed it, and who inspired me and gave me the go ahead to make one of my own, because i really, really want to help you guys in anyway i can, and if there’s anything else you think i should add here, send me an ask! also tagging: @sokxvia

Dungeons and Dragons Flaws and Personality Traits

word-nerds-united:

I’ve been working really hard on a thing and it’s involved making several backgrounds. I wanted to share with you the best flaws and personality traits I’d come up with

  •  My monastery is better than your monastery and I’ll make sure to make that clear.
  • Rules are meant to be broken, and traditions are meant to be changed
  • I have a different personality every day of the week.
  • I don’t understand just how strong I am sometimes.
  • I’m paranoid that everyone I meet is secretly a celestial out to kill me.
  • Colors fascinate me
  • I speak Terrasi and complain about how much I hate the people around me (if there are people around me I dislike) and pretend I am complimenting them when they ask what I said.
  • I never get lost! okay, I usually don’t get lost.
  • I don’t get along with children.
  • If people could stop dying around me, that’d be great.
  • I am the loudest person at the campsite. If I’m not, I will be.
  • I sneeze loudly when I am nervous or scared
  • I tend to assume everyone knows nothing about the ocean.
  • Water pollution makes me angry beyond measure.
  • I broadcast my thoughts out loud and to my tribe’s single mind.
  • I tend to overexaggerate mild inconveniences and act apathetic towards life-threatening situations.

another weird thing about beer is that it has weird masculinity connections to it. “ya i’ll get a beer, i don’t want none of them girly drinks” Jimothy, you’re drinking wheat juice with a 5% alcohol content and my mixed, fruity, “girly” drink is 40% alcohol and tastes great

O.KAY *CRACKS KNUCKLES* I AM ABOUT TO GIVE YOU AN EDUCATION

BEER IS TRADITIONALLY A WOMAN’S DRINK, IT IS THE MOST FEMALE OF ALL OF THE DRINKS. FOR THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF YEARS, BEER WAS MADE AT HOME BY WOMEN, TO BE CONSUMED BY WOMEN AND CHILDREN–IT WAS ACTUALLY A SOURCE OF NUTRIENTS FOR MANY HOUSEHOLDS. WOMEN CREATED THE CRAFT OF BEER, AND FOR MOST OF HUMAN HISTORY THAT IS WHO YOU’D BUY IT FROM: MANY WOMEN MADE ADDITIONAL INCOME BY BREWING AND SELLING BEER FROM HOME. IT WASN’T UNTIL THE ERA OF INDUSTRIALIZATION THAT BEER BEGAN TO BE BREWED IN FACTORIES. AND ONCE BEER WAS BEING BREWED ON A LARGE SCALE, IT MADE TO START MARKETING IT TO ALL THE MALE FACTORY WORKERS WHO SUDDENLY HAD EXTRA INCOME. HENCE AN AGGRESSIVE MARKETING CAMPAIGN TO RE-BRAND BEER, A DRINK INTRINSICALLY TIED WITH WOMEN’S HISTORY, AS A ‘MASCULINE’ BEVERAGE.

EVEN BETTER, FEMALE BREWSTERS WERE THE ORIGINAL WICKED OLD WITCH. THE TROPES WE COMMONLY ASSOCIATE WITH STEREOTYPICAL WITCHES ARE ACTUALLY BASED ON THE TRADITIONAL BREWSTER. CAULDRONS & HOT STEAMING POTIONS = BEER BREWING. THE WITCH’S HAT: BELIEVE IT OR NOT POINTY HATS WERE ACTUALLY WORN BY BREWSTERS WHEN SELLING THEIR PRODUCT AT MARKETS: THE ENORMOUS HEADGEAR HELPED THEM STAND OUT, AND CLEARLY TOLD EVERYONE ‘YO MOTHERFUCKA GET YOUR BEER HERE’.

CATS AS FAMILIARS: CATS WERE COMMONLY USED TO PREVENT RODENTS FROM GETTING INTO THE WHEAT. EVEN THE BROOMSTICK IS RELATED TO BEER: A BUNDLE OF TWIGS RESEMBLING A BROOM WAS USED AS AD FOR ALEHOUSES

so basically, beer is the ultimate woman’s and witch’s drink

REBLOG ME

fuck u guys, i didn’t spend 20 min fact checking for 3 notes

I am impressed at this much knowledge

Also, anthropologists say there is much evidence that women invented agriculture, and that the first semi-permenant agricultural villages were established for the primary purpose of facilitating beer-brewing.

That’s right: Civilization was invented by women. For beer.
